Rolling Dice and Performing Actions

Action-packed and combat sessions of "The Temenos Project" will be run in person, but a number of opportunities to role-play activities such as research, downtime, or long conversations between different characters will present themselves while working on the Forum here. During these opportunities, players will be allowed to roll dice here on the forum, following the rules below, and using the example of Jimmy:

1) Jimmy wants to convince his boss he deserves a raise for the good work he has done at Oneiron Inc. Jimmy prepares a description of HOW he intends to make his case by writing out the opening dialogue to his plea in a forum post. (This is an extended test, requiring multiple rolls)

2) The Storyteller determines if Jimmy's initial dialogue awards him any bonuses or penalties to his roll, and what dice pool he should use to make his roll. In this case, Jimmy made a good case for a raise, and gets +1 die to his dice pool, composed of Manipulation 3 and Persuasion 2 (6 dice total.)

3) Jimmy makes the roll using the command in the toolbar above his post, under the "more" tab, and specifying the number of dice between the two brackets.

4) From this point, the players and the Storyteller act according to the results of the roll.
